DCL Named Sustainable Green Printer

The Sustainable Green Printer Partnership is proud to announce that Derby City Litho has been certified as a Sustainable Green Printer.  This is a program sponsored by the Printing Industry of America, Flexographic Technical Association, Specialty Graphic Imaging Association, and National Association of Ink Manufacturers.

The mission of the SGP Partnership is to encourage and promote participation in the worldwide movement to reduce environmental impact and increase the social resposibility of the print and graphic communications industries through sustainable green practices.  The certification calls for sustainable practices in all aspects of the company's business.  It addresses the paper chain of custody, recycling of common and hazardous waste, management of pre-press and pressroom chemicals to lower VOCs, management of our water usage, and management of our energy usage.  It calls for meeting all Environmental, Health, and Safety standards and regulations.
